Breaking Through
The African American people saw that they had the opportunity to achieve, regardless of the sterotypes and racism they faced. With their growing pride in the African American culture, they found the strength to ignore the race barriers. Because of this, the Harlem Renaissance became the biggest movement and most historical achievement for African American culture. The people found inspirations to keep pushing through their awareness of the struggles that African Americans had historically faced ever since being in America. They had a spiritual unity between them, and a depth of soul that kept their hopes and strength alive. | |||||
